- Where are your products made?

All leather goods are made in USA one stitch at a time.
- How many people work at Guarded Goods? Do you do this full time?

I am a one-man operation! I occasionally get assistance from my young kids in "closing the envelopes". This is my side business that I have been doing since 2013. I have a day job within Supply Chain that I am also very passionate about.
- Can I visit your workshop?

Unfortunately not. I operate my business out of my home and am spread across three different rooms (much to the chagrin of my wonderful wife).
- Do you sell your products wholesale?

I do not sell any leather goods wholesale however I will occasionally partner with like-minded shops to sell shoe laces wholesale. Please reach out if you are interested and we can discuss if you would be a good fit for partnership!
- Who are your stockists?

You can find my laces at Alden Madison, Grant Stone, and The Shoe Mart.
- Will you make a custom design wallet, watch strap or belt for me?

I am doing very little custom designs now-a-days. Unfortunately my time is limited so I am focusing on fulfilling existing orders in my standard styles. This includes custom watch strap widths as well.
- Will you make a custom length of shoe lace for me?

Unfortunately I am not doing any custom laces at this time.
- How are your items shipped?

All domestic products are shipped via USPS First Class Package service. International customers have several carriers to choose from between UPS, DHL and USPS.
- Can I pay to expedite my order?

You can pay to expedite the shipping once the item is complete but unfortunately I am not able to take payment to put you at the front of the list of items to be made. Please reach out to me if you need an item on a short-term notice for a gift or otherwise and I will see if I am able to accommodate your request.
- When will I receive my order?

Made-To-Order products have a lead time of 3 - 4 weeks. Laces and In-Stock products are generally shipped out within 2 - 3 business days. If it is significantly past that time fame, please feel free to get in contact with me and I can let you know when to expect your product.
Please remember this is my side business so I am often juggling my day job and my family and things can come up that result in longer than the stated lead time. I ask for your grace and patience.
- My order said it was delivered but I don't have it. What do I do?

Please verify that the shipping address you provided on your order was correct. USPS often inadvertently marks packages as delivered when they won't be delivered until the following day. In some instances it can take up to a week for a "delivered" package to finally arrive.
- Do you accept returns?

All Made-To-Order and Ready-To-Ship products are final sale unless otherwise noted. If there is something wrong with your purchase, please send me an email and I will do my best to work it out. I reserve the right to decline a return if there is nothing wrong with the product but are merely unhappy with the color or configuration. Laces can be returned if unused and in the original packaging if returned within 7 days of receiving the product. Customer pays return fee unless it was due to an error on my end.
