Leather cordage has great tensile strength, color and sueded texture contrasts well with a smooth leather. Pairing with Red Wing Pro leather is a favorite. Laces are long enough to wrap 360 at top before knotting.

I'm so glad I bought these! I have a pair of boots with relatively small eyelets, which is why I needed these. They are uniform in diameter, almost round, smoothly finished, AND in a color that coordinates with my boot leather. Turns out 72" was a bit too long. No problem for a pair of scissors.

The laces are nice, but they are really long, much longer than needed. Unfortunately, they aren't long enough to cut in half and use in two boots. Which brings up the question why they aren't sold in shorter lengths. This makes for a tepid review. Thanks for your concerns.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I appreciate the honest feedback. I offer the Italian round laces in 72' so one length works across 6', 8', and 10' boots. That's on purpose, so they fit the boots you have and the way you like to lace them, whether that's a double knot or wrapping the extra around the top of the boot. If they run long for your boots, you can trim them to fit.

The 72" Italian round cord leather laces are a perfect fit for my Alden boots. Plenty of varieties to match or contrast Alden leathers.
